Yard Sale Day!

Hey Hey Hey!

I'm so pumped to tell all of you about the things of Saturday! I know you're on the edge of your sit so let's get to it!

Today, (although it's 1:21 AM on Sunday, it should still be considered today) was yard sale day! A friend and I set out in my trusty ole Maxima to find some good deals! With my GPS in route, high hopes and a little cash, we were on our way! The first stop of 4 was great! I am overly happy to announce that I am now, a proud owner of a vintage Sunbeam stand mixer, that still WORKS! Ebay price = $49.00 (starting bid), 1st pricing at yard sale = $20.00, final price at yard sale = $8.00. The fact that this bad boy still works it's simply amazing to me.

The fun does not stop there though! I also purchased a 5 cents vintage cheese grater, that has now been painted green and hung on my wall for it's new use as an ear-ring holder! Thanks need to be given to the lovely lady who posted that idea on Pinterest!

All in all, it was a wonderful day of fellowship, blessings, great deals and amazement! I felt the love and power of God more today than I think I ever had! It's pretty cool how just a "yard sale day" turned into that! :o)

I hope you all have a wonderful day and I'll be talking to you soon!

Love,
Audra

Hello Hello!

Why Hello There!

I would like to say thank you to all of my avid readers and followers for joining me today in the reading of my wisdom filled post! I know you are all so very excited to see what I have to say!

I have chosen to title my super fantastic blog, "Glowrie" for two reasons. First, I'm completely in love with Jesus and the word, "Glory" came to mind when sitting here in front of my computer, thinking of Him. Second, I'm from the south and for some reason when I say the word, "Glory" in my head, it bounces around in there with a thick old lady southern accent as, "Glowrie". It usually follows with, "Hallelujaher"...not sure why though. Anywho, I'm not really here to talk about anything important this time, just a thought.

I found myself in an awkward situation this past weekend. I was out of town staying with family. Sunday rolls around and my day was over before I knew it! I had to swing by and pick up my things before heading back home that night. I was given a key and instructions, "This is the key to the backdoor." With the key in hand and a full bladder I jumped in my car and headed in the direction of, my things! After parking my car in the driveway, I vigorously hoped out and jetted for the backdoor. I placed my hand on the glass door handle to open it and much to my surprise, it was locked! "Oh no! They forgot to make sure the glass door was unlocked!!" Panic set in! First, I have to pee so bad! Second, what exactly is in my bag that I might need this week? I gave it some more thought and decided that I couldn't make it to a gas station so the backyard would have to do! After that, I came to the conclusion that I would be fine without my bag and could get it later. When I started walking back to my car I said aloud to the wind, “I’ll just try using the key on the side door.” Vuala! Like magic, the key worked!!!! So, I peed outside for nothing and felt totally humbled in the fact that, "I didn't really think this situation through!"

I thought that by the time I finished typing the above paragraph I would have some fancy conclusion or analogy but, I don't think I do. I guess all I want to say is, "When you're in a tough situation, don't pee outside before trying to unlock the side door."

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
